#24677 In a couple days, I’ll turn 26. While some may rejoice about adding another year to their age, I find myself rather disappointed because of it. Over the years, I have accomplished and learned a lot like getting my Bachelor’s Degree in Business at MSU, achieving an official +140 IQ status, experiencing some different jobs, learning some foreign languages, meeting some awesome people from around the world, and now, fulfilling my ambition by completing a double Engineering Master’s degree. I’ve dealt with a lot in my life from living a ranching livelihood to heartbreak to burying my two best friends and a close relative within 8 months of each other. However, one life experience still manages to elude me; a genuine relationship. At almost 26 when my peers are all married and having kids, I am the anomaly. A never been kissed, been on a date, or had a girlfriend virgin; a status that I have grown to despite. I’m just a guy who wonders if he’ll ever meet a girl that says “I like you” to him and actually mean it. :(

So don’t be like me. Experience what college has to offer, branch out and meet new people, and find your soul mate. After all, turning 26 in amidst of college exams and celebrating alone is rather depressing.
