That Redskin mascot confession bugged the shit out of me. I was fighting the urge to comment some hate. I'm a "Native American" but I refer to myself as Dakotah. I grew up on an Indian reservation and lived just below the poverty line. I attended a public school and fought racism from ignorant white people all my life. I have nothing against white people because I know that their ignorance is not their fault. You don't learn about native Americans in school in any real depth. You get maybe a page of native history in your government issued textbook. They don't teach you that the term "redskin" means the scalped head of a Native American, sold,like a pelt, for cash. They don't teach you about Abe Lincoln signing off on the largest mass execution in american history where 38 dakotah men were hung. They don't teach you about the hardships that we have as a people. So before you start wondering why Native Americans complain about racism, take the time to talk to one about the issue. You'd be surprised on what you'd learn.

Guys, when a girl that likes you (who you may or may not be dating) texts/snapchats/calls you and you don't like her back, but you have definitely lead her on thus far, please don't just ignore her and never talk to her again and pretend that nothing happened. I would honestly rather you just text or call me back and be like "hey, this just isn't working out" or "You know, I was just using you" or whatever it may be. I used to play a computer game as a kid that had maps people could create and play. Among these maps were various RPG-type games I used to play for hours. Over ten years since that game came out, and several since I stopped playing, I rediscovered many of these maps and was greeted with sweet nostalgia... Until I realized that there was no one left in the world that would probably want to play a map of a game over ten years old with me.
