#22357 So...whenever someone comments on a clothing style, body mod or type of haircut, saying it's unattractive...they always get a host of indignant responses: "Girls/guys don't dress for your benefit! They do it for themselves! You don't get to judge them!"

This logic confuses me. Like, unless someone is staring at a mirror all day, how are their clothes, haircut or piercings for THEIR benefit? In my opinion, I'm not the one who has to look at me all day. But everyone else does. Therefore, I dress to please. I don't want to dress or adorn myself in a way that makes other people think I'm unattractive. I want people to think I'm good-looking. A lot of people might say they don't care what others think, but I bet there are a lot of people out there who agree with me on this.

So thank you to the people that comment on what looks unattractive, skanky, douchey and [insert negative adjective here]. It's constructive feedback and I appreciate it.
