#22496 I feel like I'm running from depression my whole life. I've found it before and been depressed but I feel like I just keep running and distracting myself. That's why I don't go on nature hikes and I watch netflix and play video games and go to parties and shit. I'm really social and I have a lot of friends but it's because I don't want to be alone. Every time I'm just left alone with my own thoughts I just keep brushing some existential crisis that I can't explain. I don't need a friend or anyone to talk to. It's just that everyone thinks I'm so carefree and normal but I'm honestly hiding from myself. The only reason I bring this up is I bet there are a some people here who feel just like me but they aren't lucky enough to have incredible friends or distractions or people to talk to. And there's a chance that you know someone like that, but they keep it inside them like I do. So be kind. Listen when they need it. You don't have to make it huge deal, but just tell your friends that you're there for them and you'll listen. That's all they need.

It has lead me to alianate my two greatest friends and probably ruin our friendship irreversibly. Can the VOICE Center help? I'm not sure where to look for help without getting institutionalised.
