#24258 So last night my friends and I were smoking weed until one of them remembered that it was taco Tuesday. We hopped in our car and drove to reds, when we got there the place was pretty empty. When our waitress came, my mouth almost dropped to the floor! She was beautiful and the nicest person I had ever met. I started to make cheesy jokes which she instantly responded to. We were hitting it off great, because it was so empty she was able to sit with us. She told us that she knew we were all high and asked if we wanted to go smoke with her after we got done eating. We all agreed and followed her out behind the restaurant. When we got out there she pulled out a joint and said we could smoke it if we gave her $3.50. It was about that time that I noticed that this girl was about 8 stories tall and was a crustacean from the protozoic era, to which I replied I ain't got no tree fiddy you damn Loch Ness monster!

I don't want to have a debate over her duty to represent the school. I want to look at the facts and the facts aren't pretty. As the ASMSU president you serve in office as a PAID position. That is right, our President and VP get paid to do their jobs. The issue is not whether or not she should step down. The issue is that she hasn't already stepped down. To violate her promise to her fellow students, to misrepresent the university as per her own words, and then to keep cashing the checks paid for by my tuition. That is unacceptable and I can't believe she has the audacity to think she can stay in her position.

#24253 Hello MSU students! Many of you have expressed a desire to have the ASMSU President removed from office. However, posting that on MSU Confessions will not accomplish much. But there are a couple things you can do! Go to ASMSU Senate meetings on Thursdays at 6pm in SUB room 235 and voice your opinion. Or, if you’re feeling overly ambitious, you can start a petition to have her removed from office! Go forth, and exercise your rights as MSU Students!

These comments commending the ASMSU President for her transparency, wanting her to step down, or calling for impeachment in response to her DUI aren't doing anything productive here. If you want to have your opinion make an impact, I urge you to step up, get out from behind your computer screen, and state your opinion at the ASMSU Senate meeting (Thursdays 6pm SUB 235) where it will mean something. Otherwise quit complaining and doing nothing about the issue. This is your student government, you have the power to influence its actions. It's your fault if you do nothing about the things that matter to you. Your move. Good day.
