#326 Putin for about 10 years now has had a little known man by the name of Alexandr Dugin as his geopolitical analyst and advisor. Dugin is a hardcore reactionary/traditionalist with a soft spot for the Soviet Empire he grew up in. He rejects Marxism and Capitalism, Democracy and Fascism, what he wants is a Eurasian Union built along old Soviet lines to destroy the "Atlantacist" US/EU axis. He talks about a multipolar world, which essentially means that there are regional superpowers, rather than only one in the whole world. Dugin is the Rasputin to Putin's Tsar. However he isn't the power behind the throne so much as he is the ideological and tactical brawn. Dugin and Putin both have a shared love for the Soviet Empire and the fear that they used to spread into the mongrel republic of the USA.

These days are coming again as an increasingly balkanised and pussified west proves itself unable to stand up to its new eastern masters. The good news is that Dugin has written that he would support anyone anywhere that is anti-modernity, anti-USA. So the Greek Golden Dawn are good guys in his book, consequently good guys in Putin's book. Generation Identitaire are good guys, Fuorza Nuova etc. A resurgent Russian Empire means that these groups may not just get money and aid but also weapons. The Cold War never ended, only the flags changed, its finally going to start getting hot.

My dad always taught me to shake someone's hand with some force (not crushing but not dead fish for God's sake) and look them in the eye when you meet them.
