#923 I don't support the PGPs thingy at all. And that does not mean that I don't respect the way people want to be called/referred to. Yet, why makes things so hard? We cannot keep inventing new pronouns everyday. So instead of wanting to be called a different way than he/she because you don't want to be identified as either, why don't we try to change the way people think of the pronouns? I don't think the pronouns themselves are the problems, it's just the way we make them to be. Like seriously. And yes, you can say becauseI'm not one of you so I don't understand. But seriously why makes other people's lives worse so that your life could be easier? Why don't we all work together to find a better way than inventing all these new pronouns that hardly anyone knows anyways.

#920 There are areas of the country in which people are at great risk of being mugged or accosted, especially after dark. Yes people should be able to walk wherever they want, but the fact of the matter is that some places are safer than others. And when I'm choosing whether or not I really need to get McDonalds at 2 am, whether or not I walk through one of these areas is going to factor into my decision.

Rape is terrible. No rape is ever justified, and no survivor should be blamed. But there's a difference between blaming a victim and acknowledging that, no, we haven't fixed the problem yet, and there are things that someone can do to reduce the odds that they will be targeted. Would I ever tell someone who was raped that they "asked for it", or that their clothing implied consent? Fuck no. But when I have kids, would I advise my daughter maybe not to walk through sketchy areas at 2 am, or go to frat parties blackout drunk and alone? Absolutely. I wish that women had the same privileges in terms of their safety as men, but the truth is that right now, they don't.

#919 I was in pretty good shape when I started college last year, but have been slowly and steadily gaining weight because I'm intimidated to use the gym, and eat like shit now that my parents aren't feeding me. I'm now embarrassed every time I leave my room.

The smokers just keep to small areas around campus that are easy to avoid if you don't want to be around smoke. There ain’t no one forcing you to be around smoke. Y’all are probably the same people who want to ban soft drinks and keep all drugs illegal because they’re unhealthy while you spend all your time sitting on your iPads and drinking your coffee drinks from starbucks that you pretend aren’t milkshakes. Y’all probably never even go jogging. Some people don’t make healthy choices all the time. Deal with it and quit bitchin. Stop actin like you’re the center of the world and people on every inch of campus should be forced to not engage in any behavior you don’t like.
