#1799 A an international student, I get really offended when people talk about me as one of "the Chinese students". I know a lot of the international students seem somewhat out of place, but there are really cool people who are open minded and are willing to make friends and try to be involved with a lot of different things. Please don't judge people based on the stereotypes, and talk shit behind their back. A lot of American students go abroad and form their "USA" cliques instead of making friends with local students. Some of them behave really annoyingly and get themselves into trouble. I am not saying that Americans are bad, but I want people being arrogant and talk shit about others without walking in their shoes. I agree that some of the rich Chinese kids need to be more open minded and try to get more involved. However I feel that local students should be more friendly and welcoming to them because living in a foreign country is not easy and there are not that many people who are supportive enough to help them.

#1795 I think I've only ever seen one, maybe two maximum, male-to-female or more-feminine-than-masculine trans people here. But there are a fairly generous number of female-to-male of more-masculine-than-feminine trans people here (when I say 'generous' I mean statistically). Either they're masculine or androgynous. Either way, it seems like more people are trying to get away from being female than from being male, and I think that's really sad and problematic.
