#2517 If graduation is supposed to be a celebration of our achievements, then why is it making me feel like such a failure?

#2514 I think there is a high moral being requested when you accuse that guy of rape. Don't get me wrong. I personally condemn any person who preys over others' insecurity and takess advantage of that. However, if you bring it to a level of crime, that's another case. Indeed, the girl said No when she wasn't sure, and this was the moment his moral capacity was being tested. However, just like the confused girl who was swept off by hormones combined with other ambivalent emotions, that guy was allowed to try and convince her as he was aroused and moved along with his desire. I think this was similar to the moment when a sales person swept you off with charm and selling techniques. At that moment you were convinced, and later when the bill was sent, you regretted. I personally feel sorry for the regret, but if my argument is sound, I hope the girl would stop feeling being raped as that personal narrative could lead to further trauma. And no I'm not blaming the victim and requiring the victim to change, but i do think in this specific case, the guy is only morally condemnable but not legally convict-able. While I understand from my leftist conscience that there is an unequal playing field between genders, to require the powerful to take more responsibility and hold a higher moral standard is similar to asking the Wall Street guys to be moral saints--It is not possible, not in a constitutional America that values personal freedom more important than anything else. And as an international student from a leftist country, I feel sorry for both the girl and your anachronistic insistence on a constitution signed over 200 years ago. And Donald Trump, you know.

#2512 Thank you to the girl who shared her Beyoncé Kagin story. I just submitted a Title IX report about an incident a while back that happened to me. I'll try to stay strong, so I hope you can, too.
