All of you social justice people need to take a step back and look at things from more than just your own perspective. Our culture is CONSTANTLY changing. We have made efforts/changes in the past hundred years that have improved the lives of minorities/groups of people. We cannot sit here and say that nothing has changed. If you believe in gay marriage, fine, great. But, just because someone does not hold that view does not mean that they are to be treated unfairly and quite frankly, attacked for their views. EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinions and it sickens me that some members of both groups (yes, I did not just say liberals) are so hypocritical and pretty much despise others that do not hold their opinion. It's not a matter of who is wrong and who is right. It's about respecting others. Yeah, whites, specifically white males, historically have more privilege than other groups of people. But, this country has made efforts to make things more fair for African Americans, women and other ethic groups. The ones who want equality are just the ones holding us back. If we want people to live a fair and equal life, then people need to stop finding racism in every situation. Not everything is meant to be racist, show prejudice or meant to hurt someone else. If an African American man was killed by a white man, the media/America would have a field day. However if roles were switched, the case would most likely not even appear on the news. Why I may ask?
