So after my first semester I ended up with a 2.58 GPA. Is that going to effect my chances of becoming an NSM?

I really really want to move into a house near campus next year. But I saw houses that had like 6 bedrooms and lower. So If I did, I would definitely need roommates! I really don't know a lot of people. And one reason I want a house rather than an apartment is because I want to have friends over and Have little parties sometimes and not having to worry about being quiet all the time. So for roommates: Can anyone relate or is interested in this at all?
