Sometimes I think about coming forward at the end of the year about the confessions I wrote.... but then I'm like "Nahhh I wouldn't have any friends because they would all be like WTF."

The guy I've been sleeping with told me he gets off hard with ball action, so rather than doing my final paper, I'm researching how to stimulate testicles.

I made fun of a friend's chinchilla and now she wont talk to me. I dont need help, I just thought you all might want to know.

Best thing about this school are the Buffalo chicken strips at the grill.

When I was a kid.. I walked in on my parents having sex.. Today.. I knocked on the bedroom door.. And I once again.. Interrupted their... (shudders) Why me?... :(

I really wish Hamline provided a more resourceful career development center or at least made it more of a focus across the university. I'm sure it's good for certain students but it SERIOUSLY lacks for others, There were very limited avenues for myself and as a recent alumni I have already thought about trying to help improve this situation because I know how stressful it can be to find the right place to work. I was fortunate to receive an offer from a top organization but Hamline had no hand in that. I know the professors from the department/major I was in care about us a lot but I also feel that maybe they are limited due to the hierarchy of this University.

When I think of Hamline, I almost think of it as a giant liberal activist with all the issues that they blow up and rally around. "Leave your privilege at the door"? How about I choose another college. Or maybe instead of a bold statement why not set up some programs in low income areas that ACTUALLY would give an underprivileged person more of a chance. That is all.

I'm super torn. I like Hamline and I've made two of my best friends here, but honestly I don't feel right. The student body just seems unwelcoming for a large portion, and I'm sick of hearing about how as a white male I'm the bane of society for participating in an institution I had no control over and was indoctrinated into. But on the other hand I like the professors and the student-professor relationship. I can't say I hate Hamline, but I can't say I love it either.
