#13204 Dear ASI and fellow Cal State LA students,

I'm not from any club or organization, but I have a proposal I would like to share and I want to hear every students thoughts and opinions about this. Some may not like this idea, but others will. My proposal consist of raising student fees by $75 per quarter ($225 per year but not including summer term), starting next school year 2015-16. Here is a breakdown to my proposal which includes where the money is heading:

1. $15: This money would go to ASI and the main focus is to have extra activities as well by having a huge and diverse Music Festival at least once a year. (This school needs one badly and the students deserve this)

2. $10: This would go for free black/white printing for the entire quarter.

3. $25: This would help by adding extra courses such as core classes.

4. $25: This one is actually a long term proposal.. but this money would go to fix the library up, which includes better services, better selection of books, and a better database. I'm sorry but the school database sucks.

What do y'all think?

And for ASI, I know this sounds a lot but at least if we can get free black and white printing that would be great.
