#13405 There's a girl I see whenever I go back to my hometown.. I always recognize her. We were "roommates" in a mental institution for 3 days. We actually got along really well--we both were in for attempting suicide. I drew a portrait of her with a small, thankful letter on the back of it.
I want to say "hey, remember me? you look well," whenever I see her, but I don't think she would recognize me or even want to acknowledge me/remember that time in her life.
I just think life is strange. We were together as strangers in such a desperate time of our lives... and now, it's like I'm the only one who knows it happened, and I see her everywhere.

#13395 As a fat person currently in the process of losing weight, it really pisses me off when people try to tell me how to live my life without knowing anything about me or the process I'm going through. I've known I've been overweight since high school and yes I was "lazy" and didn't try to improve it much during that time. I don't think most people realize how hard it is to lose weight. It's tough, it sucks and you really have to stick to it. And it's hard for overweight people to get started and stay with it because there are people who will make fun of us for trying to lose weight! I used to go to the YMCA, and the LA fitness to work out, and I got so many dirty looks and people actually made rude comments about me trying to better myself. So you make fun of us for being fat and then make fun of us for trying to lose weight? It's no wonder people give up after a while.

#13393 International Students: I'm a student here and from the Temple City/San Gabriel area, and my family and I would like to extend an invitation for any International Students who are unable to go home and spend time with their loved ones this Christmas. We are planning to take however many/whomever would like to join us on Christmas Eve for a Church service and dinner at our house. Obviously we can provide transportation (: We just don't want to see anyone alone on Christmas ): Free dinner and a fun (Lutheran- however mostly nondemonimational) church service!
