The idea of "having fun in college" is completely fucked. Getting slammed and having one night stands works for some but has never been appealing to me. I look for girls who make doing boring things fun. Like getting a redbox and taking this Wednesday off of drinking to have sober, consentual sex and get good post-sex sleep for my Thursday classes. I was under the impression that I would leave Augustana with a girl to bring home to mom and dad but the problem with that is even some of the most gorgeous girls on campus have been having "fun" and getting slayed by so many guys that it makes what used to be a hard 8 1/2 more like a 3 or a 2. The same goes for guys (I'm not pointing fingers in any one direction, ladies. (lollerblades. I just said one direction. God, I love them)). Anyway, I have friends who girls would never touch because they've had sex with so many girls. I've had sex with 6. They're in the 20+ range. The thing about Augustana, boys and girls, is that it is small. Small enough that if you're hooking up with different people every weekend people are going to know and by the time you're a senior the only people who want to have sex with you are the people you've already had sex with and no one at all, not even the people you have had sex with, will want to have a relationship with you mainly because you're kind of a sloot (or man-sloot). My advice to younger students is to limit the amount of "fun" you're having because all of that fun now could turn you into a beehive. Then all anyone wants to do with you is poke you and run away. And even then they realize that they could get stung so unless they're hammered drunk then probs not. Don't be a beehive. If 10 out of the last 10 times you've hooked up havent been soberly, you might as well start buzzing, honey.

I'd really like to join a group of nudists after college. Probably not forever, but at least for a little bit. Why be constrained by clothes when you can be free?

It sucks being a girl who likes comics because everyone just assumes that you're faking it and that you only like the movies because of the hot guys but I can talk a better Batman game than anyone else I know and the movies kinda bother me with how much they veer off from the originals.

My boyfriend and I are approaching the 1 year mark and I'm trying SO hard to keep those wedding bells out of my head...but honestly I just want to start my adult life by being his. At the same time, I feel really ashamed that I already want to marry him. I get the feeling that other people will judge me for this (which should be irrelevant, but...isnt).
