The only thing I hate about having joined a sorority is the anxiety that comes with always trying to find a date for date parties.

Honestly, there's times where I think college is the stupidest thing ever. And recently I've been having these urges to just quit it all, buy a plane ticket somewhere, and live out of my suitcase. Might sound stupid and crazy, but I just feel like I'm not living. I look at all these people everyday worrying about their Greek life activities, homework, relationship issues, trying to put impressive things on their resume's... and it's so sad. We're all so afraid to LIVE. Everything is a big competition. Who did what where and who's facebook profile picture is the coolest. I'm hungry for the real world and what's out there beyond our societal borders. It just sucks that in order for me to appear educated, I need a piece of paper that says I completed 4 years of core classes before I can really dive into life. It's all a mystery to me.

Townies aren't all dangerous hood rats out to steal your iphone. There are a lot of cool people in town, you'd be suprised.

I'm a graduate with some advice. I wasted my entire college career with the same girl. We started dating freshman year, and broke up senior year. She treated me like shit and I should have ended it sooner, so I could better experience college life. If you're not happy with the one you're with despite both of you trying your hardest to make it work, move on. You won't regret it.

Nobody hates you for being rich or white. They hate you for being an asshole. It's great that you're rich and/or white but realize that not everyone is, and for those of us that aren't life at Augustana is different and a lot harder. We may not be as bad as someone from a third-world country, but it's not easy. So stop bitching about how you feel upset that a poor person or a non-white person hurt your feelings or doesn't like you.
