While the racism and white privilege debate is definitely a fascinating and complex one, I'm starting to get pretty tired of it on here. Truth is, dear straight white dudes, that perhaps the reason you feel unwelcome at Augsburg is NOT because of your sex, race, and sexual orientation, but because you're either not making much of an effort with people OR Augsburg is just not the college for you. And the same goes with plenty of other people, male, female, trans, straight, gay, bi, ally, white, black, international, etc. Sure, people who represent the minority are often subject to prejudice and discrimination; however, it's also true that many, many students end up going to a college that does not suit them for any number of reasons. So if you're feeling unwelcome and unhappy, consider transferring somewhere you'd be happier.

Right before I graduated in 2012 I drew a map and hid it under a giant chair in the attic of Old Main. The map leads to a spot where I buried $100 and a 6-pack of beer. To my knowledge it hasn't been found yet.

As a freshman at Augsburg, I have to say... I absolutely hate the food. It's just so... for a lack of better words, cruddy. For what it's worth though --- just kidding. It's not worth the money at all. Silly meal plan, money is for delicious food. Not mediocre.

I ran into an old professor today, we chatted for a few minutes and caught up. As we were walking our separate ways, I hollered "say hi to the wife for me!" he paused and stared at me, I smiled and walked away. I am hilarious.

Fact: There are no single people left at Augsburg. Now shut up.
