I have a friend who's parents give life to them on a silver platter. This friend of mine does not struggle like I do with finances. His parents give him 400 dollars a week and sad to say that he uses it for online purchases. I am more concerned with my friend than jealous. I grew up in a family that worked hard and believe that money will always be there. I am concerned that my friend will never grow up. Just yesterday my friend called their parents and went on a tantrum because they did not receive their weekly 400. This friend of mine, who has never held a job, who has never struggled, who has never had to worry about finances, is not someone who can understand reality the way myself and most people do. Should the parents be blamed for their irresponsibility of teaching their child that struggling is a way to grow as an adult? The friend I see now, is nothing more than a child in need of a diaper change.
