When a a person you consider an acquaintance at best, sees you like her bff, and drives you crazy. I like my alone time, and my being polite does not mean I wanna hang out alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll the time. What can I do, don't want to hurt anyone's feelings.

I'm a guy and most of my best friends now are girls. It wasn't always like this. Over the years, a lot of my guy friends took some bad paths in life so I'd rather not associate with them. So now, I only have three guy friends left that I consider myself close to. The girl friends I've kept in touch with over the years have never changed. This "friendzone" garbage is nonsense. There's literally nothing wrong with being in it, and I couldn't be happier with the friends I have in my life right now.
