#5666 The politics in the music department are sickening to see, between students and faculty alike. No one is that self important that they need to step on people all the time. So fed up with losers of that ilk.

#5665 For all graduating ladies walking this semester, be sure you're prepared to stand in the heat. Last year it was super hot and humid for whatever reason they had us standing outside under the sun, in the gowns and everyone was pretty miserable. Be sure you wear light fabrics underneath so you don't melt into a puddle. Good luck and congrats!!

#5664 To the girl who randomly paid for my dinner yesterday when I lost my credit card, you are a saint! Thank you! :-)

#5663 Now that I'm graduating, I don't give a damn about saying what I'm going to say. It's been a pleasure being a part of various departments on campus. Whether as a major or minor I felt supported, respected and valued. The music department fails on all levels: the amount of favouritism and snobbism that goes in that dept between students and faculty is nauseating. For a department that is so disorganized , stop preening about like peacocks. We are not all theory saavy, we do not solely aspire to specialize in voice or performance. But some of us minors are just as dedicated and passionate about music as a major. I've held on to keep my minor these past 4 years and have had only a handful of faculty be decent, encouraging human beings. Music is hard, the profession is hard. But stupid games and politics should never be part of a department. To freshmen who want to major or minor at music here: don't. Just don't. If you're not willing to kiss ass, you will always be in the margins. Hard work is not enough. If you do decide to come in the dept, do what I did: don't kiss ass, but keep being passionate, dedicated, hard working, and have integrity. A few profs will support you. But keep practicing and becoming a better musician with or without this pompous, disrespectful, disorganized, and sapping department.

#5662 So glad that the two heifers are finally graduating. They are the sole reason why legacies shouldn't be a thing. It's about time [redacted] gets back on top as the hottest sorority.

#5661 @#5650 you waited this long to have apple pie! Damn! No worries, I too didn't get into the baked goods game into later than my other peers but the coolest thing about apple pie is trying all different types of recipes. Become a connoisseur if you can. Eating the same damn pie all the pie becomes boring when you can smell different ones around you. Sure you will settle down for that one recipe but at least you can say you tried a bunch of different ones and settled down for the best one.

#5660 Why did I join a sorority? I'm closer to everyone but my sorority sisters.

#5659 I used to sit by Emalie H. in class just because she always smelt amazing. I know that's weird but it was worth it.
