"I have fears about being raped by men on this campus. Being exposed to all the sexist hate on here has made me feel genuinely unsafe among my peers."
"While waiting for the bus earlier today I got to stare at Tyler Bradshaw's ass while he painted the frat steps. My Monday just got a thousand times better:)"
"For those of you who feel personally attacked by the recent race/privilage/feminmist dialogue please don't be. No one is saying white people or men are the enemy or any crazy bull shit like that. We are simply asking you to check your privilege. No need to get all angry about it, it's true! Now that you are aware of it your all uncomfortable and what not so you get mad. Understandable. Once your done going through the stages of greif then you can help us in the fight for equality! YAY! love not at hate ya'll!"
"Pass the weed and stop passing judgement"
"Of all the drug dealers that serve the Hamline Community, I love our Starbucks crew the most. Round of a applause for the hardworking folks there!"
"All right, I'm out. This page used to be fun, but now it's being used as a forum to attack minorities. I love my school, but like with any other group, it takes only a few ignorant and mean-spirited people to spoil it for everybody. Many of the trolls and posters are not even affiliated with Hamline. I suggest that people of all genders and races explore the social and political ideas discussed here-- and that DOESN'T mean making generalizations based on a few people you've met. If you really care to understand these things, you will dig deeper. But I know many of you are set in your ways and will continue to advocate for your privileged position. You know who you are, and congratulations, you've reasserted your dominance and ruined a good thing in the process."
"Can't we all just get along?"
"when you stare into my eyes, I have hoped, you shall see your own self,
when little hopes shall like bubbles come, know that my mind shares them,
when coloured dreams shall flower, know my joy aspires to fill their joy,
how can i express, that my life, plays the same rhythm that moves your life."
