#5642 I'm considered "out and proud" but I feel like a fraud because I struggle with my sexuality in a huge way on a very regular basis. I spend a lot of time wishing I was "normal" and I spend a lot of time crying in my room about the insensitive things people say on the subject. It's funny because the super religious "god hates fags" people don't hurt me but my friends and classmates who consider themselves to be accepting often do without ever realizing they've said or done something wrong. It's really excruciatingly hard to be different and feel so constantly uncomfortable when surrounded by straight people who don't understand that. I can be the proudest gay out there but it doesn't change the fact that I would never in a million years choose this life for myself.
