#3795 To all other women and men who've been raped or sexually assaulted in any way, I understand how much this changes your life and in many ways robs you of your ability to trust in anyone. I was raped by a boyfriend a few years ago and I told myself it wasn't rape because I was dating him and we'd been sexually active. But eventually I saw that it was rape, I said no many times and he responded by threatening me. Know you're not alone, there is help and that it is possible to trust again. It took me years and a lot of work with therapy to get to this point, but don't lose hope. And remember that it isn't your fault, regardless of if a person is walking down the street naked and high as a kite it doesn't give anyone the right to rape them.

What I have learned from you is if someone offends me, the best way to approach it is to insult them and demean them and imply they are a human being without respect. With no other knowledge or context or even -trying- to understand the point they make. These judgements come so easily to you people! You know what. I am disgusted by the behavior that passes and is seen as "liberating thought" Grow up. Give people the benefit of the doubt, and it is never once to respond to anyone in a way that demeans them. Everyone is human. We are all ignorant, foolish, and shortsighted. Welcome to the club. Lets first learn to live with each others ignorance before trying to change them.
