I find it weird that James Gandolfini's nephew goes to hamline.

How come I didn't notice how shitty this school was when I was a prospective student? Wish I could get my money back. Wahhh.

Trump isn't racist, those attacking him are the racist ones.

I like how people are wasting their vote by giving it to perennial candidate Jill Stein. She is unqualified to be president and most supporting her couldn't even name her credentials. This election isn't about the better of two evils. There is only one evil, Trump. Clinton claims to be just as progressive as Sanders claims to be, people just need to get over their trust issues with her and suck it up.

I've seen multiple friends decry the nomination of Ms. Clinton as a win for white feminism only. That's easy to believe and accept, afterall, she did help support policies that helped mass incarcerate African-Americans exponentially more than whites. She has since denounced those decisions. But it wasn't just Uncle Bernie who was a part of the Civil Rights movement. Hillary often led student protests to promote the education of black women at Wellesley College, her commencement speech promoted civil rights, and she spent much of her early career fighting for African-Americans. Sure, her record isn't perfect, but she has fought for people of all walks of life thoroughout her career, much more than many politicians, and continues to evolve on issues, just like we all are, instead of living backwards like another major party candidate. Hillary is a feminist for all, not just whites. Don't believe every attack thrown at her just because you don't do your research yourself.

I find it hilariously ironic when SJWs protest speaking events that are about the importance of free speech.

Daddy pays your rent. Daddy buys you new dresses and shoes. Daddy pays your student loans. Daddy buys you a new car. You work part time, or not at all, jumping between jobs like they are play things. I had the same opportunities you had to take advantage of my parents, but I chose to pay my own way. My parents are the 1% and they were happy to pay all my college, pay for my car, and fund my art but I turned all that down because we need to give up our privileges. I know it seems maddening to suggest that just because we are born into money does not mean we are entitled to benefit from it, but it's nothing more than a crutch that we become reliant on. If your daddy suddenly stopped paying for your new car, your rent, your expensive meals out, your insurance, etc would you even be able to continue your craft, pay for your schooling, or do what's necessary to pay your own way in this world? If you choose to rely on your parents' wealth to "buy" your own place in this world, you cannot claim to be feminist or progressive or an ally of the disenfranchised. The only thing you can claim is your privilege.
