Tisk tisk, so much anger and aggression here. As enlightening as it is to see that all of you have an opinion, adding negative emotion is not helping anyone. Check your privilege? More like check your tone; I'm certainly not going to check my privilege or anything else when you're sounding like a prick. In fact, I'll actually aggravate the situation even more just to see if I can make you completely lose it. And is it ever so satisfying to see people lose it. Sadistic? Absolutely. But I have enough self-worth left to not allow you to talk down to me. I understand you are passionate about something, but quite frankly at this point I don't give a flying fuck. This isn't the comment section of Youtube or some other comment page where every Tom, Dick, and Harry can let their frustrations out on some unlucky bastard. And while I'm going on a rant of sorts here, I would like to not so kindly point out, that arguing with a bunch of imbeciles about their ignorance or misconceptions about the world makes you an imbecile as well. Please come to the realization that you're doing jack-squat sitting on your computer arguing with people sitting on their computer. Want to raise awareness or show how passionate you are about a topic? Go fucking do it in the real world, not the internet world. Lastly, this is a CONFESSIONS page, not the DEBATE page. Check your privilege? Check what fricking page you're on first! -Yours forever and always mdotodotodot

Sofia white, you'll be seriously missed as an RA, and when you're abroad next year...I hope you realize someday how many people you've helped.

I am a male student, who grew up in a rural area, and I really do understand where the feelings that most conservative people have regarding issues of race, gender, and sexuality. I found this piece talking about the #NotAllMen and why it is important to understand where the #YesAllWoman group is coming from. This is even hard for me, but for my future daughter and future wife and friend, I feel it's important to at least try (really try) to have an open mind. I hope you, who may have similar, uncomfortable feelings, at least take the time to read this. You don't have to agree, I certainly am trying to wrap my head around it. I'm not trying to trick anyone. It is my hope that this at least it furthers the conversation. Isn't that why we are in college? http://www.slate.com/blogs/bad_astronomy/2014/05/27/not_all_men_how_discussing_women_s_issues_gets_derailed.html

I'm going to come out to my parents as pansexual soon, and I'm kinda nervous but I know their pretty accepting but I don't know what to expect from them. So here I'll say it so I can get comfortable tell people.

I absolutely HATE the "guilty until proven innocent" attitudes that I keep seeing. Since when are nice, honest, and caring people the exception? I don't live in a sitcom, and I sure as hell have more problems than I care to count, but I will ALWAYS try to find the best in people, even if - especially if - nobody else will.

Thank you, Hamline. I can confidently say that during these past four years this institution has helped me unlock my full academic potential. I can now experience the luxury of having the top national graduate programs "fighting" over me by bombarding me with letters and throwing sizable scholarships in my direction. I can now regard myself as an "expert" in more than one way and, more importantly, others may view me in that same respect. To those of you thinking twice about this place--good, you should--everything is suspect. But, remember where you learned that, and keep in mind Hamline, like anything else, is what you make of it. Good luck.

Now I am in no way romantically interested in this person, but I wanted to let him know that I enjoy the feeling of being in his arms. He is so warm, I need always warmth in my life. I'm tired of being cold all the time. Why won't I tell him this to his face? Because he isn't next to me right now, plus he knows I keep him around because I like his company. He's someone I want to keep around for ages. His personality is extraordinary, and his smile is charming to say the least. (Did you get that Adam? Guess who. Get it right this time.)
