"Bothers me that people are so quick to trash religion and those who disagree with them."
"Charlie Metcalf! Where have you been? It seem like you don't even attend Hamline anymore. I miss seeing your handsome face around campus. Holla Back :)"
"The hardest thing I've ever had to do is watch you love her..."
"I can happily move on knowing I'm the best you'll ever have."
"I get it you all want to be opinionated and controversial about this whole religion thing... but honestly, get over it. People can say and think what they want. Find something more productive to bitch about. This fighting thing through 'confessions' is a waste of all your time. And onnnnnnnn to Fridaaaaaaay night. "
"Boobs or butts, Hamline? Everybody has a preference."
"It is interesting to see who is really there for you."
"(From the one who wrote the religion rant) I would like to clarify my rant, as that is what it was and that was the problem. A rant is a way to let off steam in a fit of anger and because of that the point of the rant became skewed. I was back lashing at a comment I saw and therefore I basically poured onto the page whatever came through my head. I do not believe those who aren't Christians are evil or deserve to go to hell. I myself have many issues with some of the views of the Church. I believe everyone is entitled to their own belief because it is THEIR belief, no one can say that it is wrong or misguided. As long as a belief does not harm others (be it physically, mentally, emotionally, economically, etc.) I have no problem with that. I actually enjoy people with different beliefs as it brings other viewpoints which is great as long as no one resorts to name calling and bashing ( this means everyone including Christians, atheists, etc.)!
Now about religion being a source of morals, I meant it as "a" source. Meaning there is more than one. I'm not saying if you're not religious that you don't have morals! Far from it! Some of the most "religious" people I know are some most horrid human beings.
The main thing I meant to say, and should have said before, is that let each other believe what they want to believe as long as it doesn't harm others and don't resort to bashing each other because a certain number of people within a group are abusing others and saying they can because of their beliefs. Basically, stop the bashing and you may find you had allies where you least expected it."
