#5339 If you don't acknowledge me as A PART of the issue then I can not be A PART of the solution. A passive aggressive environment breeds deception, mistrust and overall chaos. Even this message in of itself exudes the exact principle that I am speaking of. Unfortunately, since the direct approach is forbidden for a fear of unintentional reproach I must address the issue in an anonymous fashion. If compromise cannot be found amongst 7 people who love each other...how will it be handled when 15 strangers are added to the pot?

#5337 What you guys are saying about Spectrum doesn't apply anymore.... This year the board got completely new members and they are literally the sweetest people (too nice, in my opinion) who have been working really hard to make the club super inclusive, even to straight people. And I went to a meeting, and it's not like this mean-girls vibe like everyone is talking about? It's like 10 people just talking about their day.... You all need to stop, you're giving straight people the opportunity to talk shit about the LGBT community at Rollins for absolutely no reason. Like maybe it was messed up in the past but this is a 4 year college?? People come and go.

#5334 All of the posts on here are so petty it makes me sad. Take the energy of your frustration and use it to go help people. There are so many people who have it so much worse. Stop pitying yourself and go make a difference in someone else's life. You have the ability to do so much more.

Maybe you should start a group, and speak directly to each other about how you feel. In other news, I confess that I'm tired of how aggressive the Rollins community is towards each other.
#5332 Religion is not a problem in the world. Religion does not cause wars or oppress people. Extremism is the problem, and there are extremists from every faith background including atheism. Having a belief doesn't hurt anybody, whether it's a belief in God or a belief that there is no God. What causes issues is having the mindset that the rest of the world needs to see things the same way you do. That's what leads to wars and oppression. So let's just let everyone do their own thing and stop rushing to condemn others for their beliefs or lack thereof.
