What is Pinehurst?
Am I the only one who doesn't give a shit about pinehurst?
I was fixing my hair in the bathroom in the Cornell Social Sciences Building, then a boy from my class stumbled in. He looked at me for a while before I had to remind him it was the GIRLS bathroom. Haha
that awkward moment where i am both a theatre major (who has never been casted) and a member of pinehurst and have experienced nothing but positive vibes. Of course everyone has their rights and wrongs, but they have been the most open and accepting people i have ever been around. Also, just to point out, the complaint is that pinehurst is cliquey and intimidating... look at sororities and fraternities on campus they have their own house (like pinehurst), you have to be apart of the organization to participate in its function (like pinehurst, except we are able accept anyone who wants to join)... dont be so quick to judge what you really dont know and realize its not much different from other organizations and groups on campus... also not everyone in pinehurst is a theatre major or have any relation to the theatre, the house is accepting of all.
I think it would be hysterical if this page was run by Rollins administration.
[ADMIN]: It would be, but no, it is not.
Rollins is worse than high school socially. The majority of students are shallow, self-absorbed, and extremely judgmental. They get along with each other because they have similar interests and similar levels of douche. I'm fine with drinking and partying but kids at Rollins feel like that's what college is all about. I mean, whatever floats your boat. But at the same time, if you are looking for genuine people who will think about others on a regular basis I would not recommend Rollins. I went abroad and immediately hit it off with nearly every kid that wasn't from Rollins. Wish I knew before I signed up for Rollins.
to the incoming freshman who defend/argue/comment on every single post on this page... you know who you are and so do we.. people already find you extremely fucking annoying and you haven't even stepped foot on campus yet! Being opinionated is a good thing but being over-opinionated is obnoxious and irritating considering you haven't even experienced what our fabulous school is really like yet.
Question: how long does it take for our confessions to be posted?
[ADMIN]: Recently, less than 24 hours. I have gotten caught up now, so more like just a few hours now.
