#3209 J.R. (music dept) is so adorable. I just want to break him into a thousand little pieces and then suck his dick so hard he swallows his eyeballs. :3
#3208 I can't tell you how many times I've been told, "Shut up, White Girl."
I get that sometimes, my White Girl opinion isn't really being asked for. I get that. There are times when I'm like, "No really, male person. STFU." So I understand.
Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt, though.
#3207 I just want to say to all you out there who are depressed and anxious: I've been at the deepest, darkest, lowest points in life. I know what you're going through, I was there once. When you're depressed and anxious, your perception of time isn't in tact. You want things to be better right now, in the current moment, but that won't happen. These things take time. But, what I can assure you, is that it will get better. Whether you see it now, or you see it later, those present thoughts will soon be distant memories in the grand scheme of life. Keep your head up and keep on walking because life has roadblocks, but you'll eventually be smooth sailing once things clear up.
#3206 Wow! Its funny how when people get called out on their racist shit, even the subtle microaggressions, it becomes all about how people are being racist against them. Racism requires a systemic oppression. Sorry but white people are the system. People of color can be prejudice against white people but not racist. As far as the things are just as bad for us arguement, most of the students are the results of well-off families.
The facts are that people of color are still being told from a systemic level that they are worth less than white people. From standards of beauty to representation in Government, people of color are given the short end of the stick. You say education can fix things. The fact is that neighborhoods made predominantly of people of color have sub par education. Access to food is not nearly as good in white areas. Its hard to focus on school with an empty belly. Media representations of success are more often to be white. Just seeing successful individuals who look like helps to foster the idea that you can be successful.
And an addendum for the person who mentioned the Trayvon Martin Case: Yes I realize that the prosecution did a shitty job. But it took the police 44 days to arrest Zimmerman. While I do not believe the jury was racist but the verdict furthered the idea that people of color are valued less in our society. It reinforced the idea that dead black boys don't mean anything in America which has been shown by the 1,000s of unarmed black males murdered by police officers, who never serve a day in prison and end up back on the force. While this was definitely not the intent that was the result.
I realize that I am saying something that will fall on mostly deaf ears but for the few who are willing to read and look into this themselves, look up Peggy McIntonsh and her discussion of white privilege, watch Tim Wise's White Like Me and you may be able to get a greater depth of understanding than I can give in an anonymous post that would be better served in a face to face conversation.

#3203 To the blond gentleman playing pool in the Grille and wearing a Southern Tide shirt and black skinny jeans: you have a very nice butt. That is all.
