@ the extreme SJWs Have you guys considered that maybe your aggressive, hostile, silencing, and shaming tactics do nothing but push people away? To the point where people are afraid of discourse in fear of callouts? You can’t convince silent people. The messages are good, but your tactics only convince people in the echo chamber that already agree with you. Case in point: StopWhiteNoise. Sure, great underlying message. But given the blatant white hate, and that name with such aggressive execution which simply demonizes white people, the same people you're trying to convince, ... maybe ... just maybe you should be a little nicer?? I wasn't aware that the best way to get people on your side was to insult and belittle them. Your tactics give the real issues a hostile image, illegitimizing the work that genuine people put into fighting them. I think you all need to give this MacWeekly article a good read: http://themacweekly.com/2017/04/in-defense-of-the-offensive/. The best way to fight is patiently, calmly, and with logic. I apologize for the condescending tone, but it's more likely to incite a response that I genuinely would like to read to gain your perspective. Thanks, and I hope you understand my perspective. #TooScaredToPostWithMyNameForFearOfShaming

I never correct people on their mistake, but I always savor the sweet, silent satisfaction of knowing I'm better than people who use alumni as a singular noun.

I would post about sex rather than politics but I haven't gotten any in over a month

I love how people are trying to say that it's hidden "dirty laundry" that's being aired and that Mac was always the same. You're wrong and you know it. Just like the rest of the country/world, Mac is more angry and resentful and conflict-ridden than it's ever been in recent years.

I am graduating with a terrible GPA because I didn't focus much on academics while I was here. I spent a lot of time working to be able to pay for my tuition which is sorta ironic. I just regret not spending more time on my studies. My classes were great, my professors were great, I was just a shitty student.

I'm in love with a friend who has a partner and I'm just trying to get through these next few weeks without drunkenly admitting it to them.

Want a reason Mac is so polarized and everyone yells at eachother now? We have started to recruit from the extremes of American society, hyper-left-ish on one side and athletes/more conservative people on the other. When we were first years there were so many more fun, interesting, reasonable people who weren't tied to one extreme or the other. More normal/average people who made this school a much nicer place. Mac will never be as it once was until it recruits and attracts people from a wider variety of background, regions, cities, and more, instead of getting the extremes from both sides. It is this clash of extremes that has created the toxic atmosphere we have today.

To the guy who takes massive, vocal dumps in kirk multiple times a day: if you have to wipe for 3 minutes, you were not done and ready to wipe. Also, maybe reconsider your current diet ??
