Ever noticed how the more condescending/passive aggressive/type A STEM kiddos are the most likely to get drunk on a weekend and indiscriminately destroy property? Super endearing

remember when the first google result for the search 'did the holocaust happen' was a stormfront forum? I think about that whenever an oppressed person tells someone they don't want to do emotional labor and to 'just use google'. Lots of people know next to nothing about social justice things, and are genuinely asking their peers questions in order to better understand things. Emotional labor is hard, but it's a pretty useful tool for education potential allies I think.
So if institutional racism comes to some end, and whites become a minority (an eventuality given population trends), does that mean there will eventually be a time white people can't commit racist acts because the new liberal definition of racism will become irrelevant?
Being at this school has made me question whether I can be gay and religious at the same time. I was brought up conservative, and now in a happy committed relationship with a guy. Whenever I am with other gay people on campus however, it seems like being in a committed relationship is a sin. All of the conversations my group of gay friends have are about who they hooked up with last weekend, and they always joke about me being in a happy relationship to the point that I feel bad being around my boyfriend knowing that I have been present during those conversations.
I am perfectly happy in my relationship and I don't think I will be happy sleeping with "this hot guy and that hot guy" every weekend. Can I just be gay without being pressured into sleeping around? The liberal narrative at this school seems to suggest that that is the only way to properly be gay.
sometimes i wonder if plants experience their own form of happiness. Probs not animal-like happiness, but they respond to stimuli and have objectives (and dreams?) and look v content on nice days.
