I'm in desperate need of a place to move into for spring semester. I'm a chill person and I will pretty much keep to myself the whole time. If you are looking for a roommate or know someone looking for a roommate like or comment please!
I graduated from Hamline a year ago with honors. I had a research grant, volunteer experience, lived abroad twice, etc. Yet, post college, has been the worst time of my entire life. The company I worked for out of college required a college degree just to make and receive calls for $14 an hour. If you don't make at least 10 calls an hour, they dock your pay and no one met that mark so everyone made shit.
It was only for a year and they cut you all at the end and hire a new bunch, so now I'm jobless and near homelessness. I've been desperately trying to get a job at a local business where I'll be more than just a number, but even my friend's business who seemed super excited about me applying hasn't even called me back in two weeks. I mean, if even he won't interview me then I must really be hopeless. I don't know what to do anymore. I just want to work somewhere that I'm not trapped in a cubicle trying to meet ridiculous standards.
Apparently there was a movie called The Electric Piper made for Nickelodeon in 2005 with a guitar wielding piper that leads rats from a town called Hamline. Coincidence? I think not. Anyone want to change the piper to look like this?
Just here to say Hamline would get destroyed by St. Thomas in a SSB Melee Crew Battle!
Not including roommates, who was the very first friend you made at the beginning of your first year at Hamline? Even if you literally never talk to them anymore, tag them in the comments :)
Is fireball or up all night happening this year?
I don't know what's more terrifying: tuition rate increases or the high prevalence of bad brows on campus.
Where is LAW GRAD room 6? Is it in the LAW school?
