So much for "straight edge".
Dont you think that trump is good for white people? Who cares if he is bad for other people, all that matters is if he good for you. Injustice can be localized, injustice in the congo is not injustice in Minnesota. Who cares if a bunch of people in the twin cities poor communities are negatively impacted by trump. I, and most of my fellow students at Hamline are not those students. I understand that some people( minorities)are aginst him and makes sense, but I am not you. I should not pretend to be you. That be inauthentic.

I respect transgender identity, but I do admit that I don't understand it very well. I always respect people's pronouns but feel like I'm missing something. I do, however, disagree strongly with the social construction of the gender binary. My confusion is: how does one identify as the opposite gender without reinforcing what is expected and considered the norm for that gender? I feel like its saying that one identifies a certain way, but wouldn't be able to truly live that identity within their assigned-at-birth gender. I can understand that choice because the gender binary is still prevalent throughout our society, and one's role is constricted by their assigned gender, but I wonder if things would change as the binary diminishes. Can someone help me with this?
