What is a high speed lane change?
I think Hamline should offer classes for people wanting to pursue careers as mimes.
I wrote a very strong-worded letter to HUSC saying that if they don't change the name of this university to Piper University I'm going to kill myself. Don't make me do this. You don't want my wasted youth on your hands.

Apparently cats eat their human owner if they die and they have no other means of food on hand. I know some people want to be cremated or buried when they go, but I think I want to be cat food.
I just need to vent. My girlfriend of 7 years who moved to MN to be with slept with someone else. I have had a lot of health problems lately so things have been hard. I don't hate her for it. I still care about her but the relationship is over. Now I'm here with no family, I hardly know anyone, and no one gets my situation. I am really dreading trying to date again with all this baggage
Over the last couple days I've seen and heard some people talk about there not being "leagues." I emphatically disagree. I'm short, moderately attractive and probably a little more than moderately overweight and for the life of me I cannot get a girlfriend despite the fact that I have seen and done some amazing things in my life. I've been all over the world - I've snorkeled in the Caribbean and climbed mountains in the Western U.S. and Alaska, in addition to visiting the U.K., Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, and other countries. I love to read classic literature and have started writing a little myself (none of it is of good quality, but that's for another confession). I'm not saying that women are shallow people for dating more attractive guys, because believe me men do the same thing, I'm saying that everyone is shallow and self-absorbed. You can deny it and talk about the work you've done for other people - I've worked for multiple non-profits/charitable organizations and I said the same thing to myself - but all-in-all as a species we'd prefer someone that is attractive to someone who has accomplished something. All I want is to love someone who feels the same way for me. I just understand that it will be someone "in my league."
I was in class yesterday and we were talking about a really brutal crime and I looked around during the discussion and saw that a lot of people, if not most of the classroom, were visibly emotionally effected by this subject, including the professor, and I'm sitting there, stone-faced, prepared to go into detail about the crime, criminals, and brutal details without a problem. It's not that I can't feel sympathy or emotions, I'm just really good at compartmentalizing when it comes to crime, but looking around at everyone else made me feel like I had no soul or something.
