A year ago today, I got out of an abusive relationship. While this situation often silences people, I choose to speak up. Many people, both men and women, are in these relationships and don't know what to do, or don't even realize how bad their situation actually is. I know I didn't, especially because of how manipulated I was. I was lucky enough to get out of this relationship, but I wish I had realized it sooner. If you ever even think you're in an abusive relationship, help is available. Below are two helpful links.
Never let anyone define you or make you feel worthless, especially the person who claims to love you.

I confess, I'm pissed off at my financial aid this year. I work hard and support myself, why do you need my families tax info? Thanks so much for removing most of my aid because my dead beat dad who I only JUST managed to get tax info from to put on your fafsa because you wouldn't help me, not to mention a fucked up face for my trouble, made more money this year. Cheers to being buried in debt and getting my teeth fixed for daring to bother him.
Hey so I know people have posted on here before about leasing together. I'm looking for one roommate for a house that is across the highway close to Macalester. Very nice house, cats welcome, 500 a month fixed rent. If you're interested just like the status and I'll message you!

It bothers me how easy it is for some people to just waste things. Even if i waste i feel really uncomfortable about it. Idk...
Given the exponentially growing human population and the excessive number of children throughout the world living in hope of being adopted, I find having biological children to be incredibly selfish and highly narcissistic. CMV.

My boyfriend and I are looking for a third roommate. We don't have a place yet because we don't want to sign a lease before we have another roommate. We want to live in an apartment in New Brighton for around $300/month. It would be about a 10-15 minute drive to campus, but a lot cheaper than living near campus.
