I'm a girl, average weight, average looks, average intelligence, and above average in how I treat the people in my life. I just recently got out of a relationship and I just want a guy to watch movies with, no strings attached.
I know this isn't logical and I truly do not mean to dismiss other people's experiences, but when people say things like "catcalling is something that all women deal with," I can't help but feel a little uncomfortable. I feel awful for those who have to deal with it and hate that it's something that exists because of how demeaning it is... but then I also feel like there must be something wrong with me or how I look because I have never brought out that type of reaction from another person. I don't understand why that idea always hits me when I hear or see someone say that and it kinda disgusts me that it's there but I don't know what to do about it.
That one girl is in the Divergent sequel. would it be weird to ask her to introduce me to my future wife shaleine woodley?
I may have been watching too many Vines lately, but does anyone else see Brody Honkanen as the next Josh Peck??? His hair, though. :-)
I understand that voting is important, but posting someone in an area that many people regularly pass through (say, right outside Anderson) that follows and questions me about whether I'll vote is not going to make me feel comfortable at all.
I'm incredibly disappointed in the Hamline College Democrats. They misled people by saying that Senator Al Franken and Governor Mark Dayton were at an event in the title, and the description said "Join Al Franken and Mark Dayton." And guess who wasn't there. I am very upset about this.
I have a huge crush on Kaitlyn Allee. Sometimes I'll just stare at her for the entire bio lecture
To the people here who scroll through the confessions and point out any potentially offensive phrases or language, do you do this in your everyday life? When you hear people say similar things at Starbucks or Klas, do you stop what you're doing and tell them what they said that was offensive and why they shouldn't say those things? If not, what kind of social justice advocate are you? Trolling the internet won't do a damn thing.
