I hate how the media works. I can't trust it because of how I know it works and thus I take everything with a grain of salt because I know they only have so much access to accurate information and even then there are ways they manipulate it to sell it. Thus I'm always uncomfortable when people start having really intense feelings about a story, to the point of hating anyone who has even a shred of doubt. My heart goes out to people who are hurt but I rarely feel justified to make as strong of an opinion as others when I'm not sure how biased or accurate the media portrays the facts.

'If you're not a part of the solution, you're a part of the problem' is the easiest way of blaming people who cannot relate to an issue and therefore don't associate with an issue. By this logic I'm partially responsible for Kony, victim shaming, skin cancer, ebola not being cured, Russia invading the Ukraine and making being gay illegal, gang wars, Scotland remaining in the UK, smoking, and an infinite number of issues from all over the world.
