Thought I was gonna get banned from Yik Yak today because people get down voting and reporting my #BlackLivesMatter and #NoJusticeNoPeace posts. Needless to say, I'm very disappointed with the Yaking community.
All of you quick to indict Officer Wilson. But yet, you know zero about the actual facts and evidence. My question is, isn't it racist to immediately assume someone is racist just because they're white? #Thinking #Duh #NoShit
The fact that so many people are willing to ignore forensic evidence really gets under my skin... Our legal system does its job. A jury who knows more than we do made a decision #ferguson
TO the girl with the bright yellow peacoat, beautiful smile, and the laugh that makes clouds float, I don't know who you are, but I want to take you, ask you if you would like to have a coffee date, go on said coffee date, talk and find common interests, exchange contact information, hang out more, possibly become friends, and if we are soulmates, I would like to wife you.

I think going to Hamline has forever made me a better person. Seeing some of these yaks from my hometown and the discussions on them make me so ashamed. Ashamed of where I'm from, ashamed of the people around me. Ashamed of the ideas that are still present in this country today.
I don't feel privileged for being white. I feel like I lost out on a lot of scholarships because I was, I feel like I can't speak out because I am, I feel constantly attacked by my peers because I am. I feel like there is a constant struggle of equality, which is completely justified, but people aren't making it any better by bashing people for being white, they are just adding to the problem.
