My goodness. Some of y'all are so lucky these posts are anonymous.
Does anyone else think it's stupid that Assassin's Creed has been called out for being sexist for not allowing you to play as female assassins? Look at the time periods and locations those games are set in and tell me in which one women were considered equal with men. I agree that the claim that it would be difficult to change the code to include women is dumb, but heaven forbid a video game based on history actually sticks to historical accuracy.
I don't know what it is about me that everyone thinks is so strange. I don't do anything that differently from anyone else I know, yet people constantly refer to me to my face as being weird, awkward, or just talk shit about me and think I won't find out. I will just passive aggressively confess about this though and not confront anyone about this, because my feelings don't actually matter.
I honestly find lipstick unattractive on a woman. To me it looks fake and it bothers me that everything their lips touch gets stained. This isn't to say nobody should wear lipstick, it's just my opinion. If you like lipstick then rock it.
I'm nervous about joining the fraternity. I don't like to party, and I'm not really into drinking.
Sometimes I really wonder just how rampant rape culture is around Hamline. I'd like to think we have less of it than average, but I don't want to be naive. It's just so disturbing to imagine that we all probably know a rapist who wouldn't have a single problem with raping any of us, male or female, but we just don't know it.
What really amazes me is how bigoted some activists can be. The same people who vehemently denounce things like racism and homophobia are so judgmental of other people who aren't hurting others at all just because they don't meet their rigid expectations.
Some people just need to get hit upside the head with a brick and then backhanded with a large dose of reality........... My roommate is one of these people.
