I hate when ppl confess something, which spawns 3 people to confess in response to those confessions, which results in responses to the responses. Just shut the fuck up, it's always about the same subjects too. Lets just complain about Aramark.
Reasons why guys won't commit to dating officially?
I hate when people say things like 'you can't give a fair opinion about women's rights because you're a man and can't understand what it's like to be a woman' (you can replace women with blacks and men with whites if that is more meaningful to you). Mostly because it assumes that dominant groups are incapable of empathy (unless you're a psychopath, you can empathize) but also that it assumes only the oppressed group can make fair judgments. Interestingly, oppressed groups are just as easily biased as the dominant groups, only in the opposite direction.
Don't get me wrong, I DO care about all the political/social unrest throughout the U.S. and the rest of the world... But I also am uncomfortable talking about or reading about it over 50% of the time. Why? Because of the amount of hate and blame that goes towards white people. Before you go off and start talking about how I have nothing to complain about or how I, as a white person, wouldn't understand because of my skin color... tell me this: how is it okay to make anyone of any race feel shame about the color of their skin because of the actions others who happen to have the same skin color as them? Yes, it important to talk and try to change these things... But we will only be successful if we quit pointin fingers and work together. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I avoid talking about these situations because usually I end up feeling guilty and like it is, in some way, my own fault for these events.
