I hardly read confessions anymore. I just miss all of the old ones where people would actually confess ridiculous things here. Such as the roommate who would give his roommate blow jobs when they slept, or the one confessing about having sex under some bleachers after the building was locked while someone commented about their being cameras their. There were confessions about albino squirrels and people convince squirrels were were-rabbits. They used to fill my day with a little entertainment, now the confessions give me headaches.

One of my family members thinks I just want attention all the time or pity..no. Sometimes all I need is someone to talk to, I don't need pity. Therefore I'm making this anonymous.. I'm self-conscious and starting to believe all the negative things said family member has said to me. I have been feeling so low this week, but I've been putting on a smile so everyone thinks that everything is well. In reality I feel completely numb and broken.. like if at any second I may break down. I have been feeling depressed again and I'm only happy for short periods of time..all I need is for someone to hug me and tell me everything is going to be alright.. even though I may not believe you it's what I need to hear.
We all know and see how awful and disgusting it is when white supremacists teach their children or their community's children their warped values. They pollute their children who will then pollute their children, etc etc. But we must remember that any such intolerance is passed down to our children, whether it be against gays, Asians, Caucasians, Hispanics, Natives, etc etc. Don't tolerate intolerance anywhere from anyone.
The U.S. stealing land from the Natives was cruel, but it's almost impossible to think of a nation which didn't at one time steal land from its original inhabitants in similarly wrongful ways. Russia stole land from Europe to Asia. China stole land from Nepal. African and Native American tribes stole land from each other prior to colonization and after. The Mongolians stole almost all of Asia. The Greeks and Romans stole land all over Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. Egypt stole land across North Africa, most notably from the Nubians. No nation has a pure history.
Everyone at Hamline could benefit from some serious Zizek studies.
