On this topic, I want to express how disappointed I am with the feminist movement, that appears to be completely thankless to the men who do try hard to change the social dynamic towards women.
I have seen way too many statements of the sentiment that "men are the problem."
If women can demand that men not use words such as "cunt" or even "bitch" (words that countless women still use, but that's a different debate for a different day) then I demand that you take care to separate men like me from the people who actually have victimized your gender when you are speaking on these issues. I am not responsible for the history of my gender, I have never once enforced a decision against women, and solely the fact that I exist does not impede upon your existence. Stop acting like every single man has done so and will, because that attitude WILL produce men who are apathetic to your cause, BECAUSE you alienate us so much."
