To the person who said public safety didn't come to check on them. I work for public safety and I have never met a group of people that cares about the students at augie as much as they do. You are not the first person who has called in because they were scared of an ex and I know for a fact that they don't take those things lightly and send out an officer right away. I'm not sure what exactly your situation was but I'm sure they didn't simply ignore you. If you have any complaints you should go talk to them about it
