I think everyone can agree that it's a huge accomplishment to be able to both support yourself and pay for college as a financially independent student on your own, but that doesn't mean we should start looking down on the people whose families are helping them pay tuition. Yes, some of them will take it for granted, but keep in mind that there are many who will not.
