#2343 I'm in an INB class with a bunch of Spanish-speakers and literally ALL they do is talk to each other for the entire class, completely disregarding anything the professor says. It's distracting and annoying, but our professor won't do ANYTHING about it and it's so maddening! I hate to generalize, but it's ALWAYS the same group of kids who speak nothing but Spanish (I think they're all international).They seem to be getting good grades, which is great for them, but it's really disheartening to see that they have no respect for anyone who happens to be teaching, whether it be students doing presentations or the professor himself.
Seriously, if you're gonna prattle endlessly so we can't understand you, do it outside of class so I can actually hear what my professor has to say.
