#4426 I am sick and tired of Rollins trying to nickel and dime me. here are some recent experiences just in the past month.
1. I checked out some books from the library, then returned them, then got accused of never returning them and slapped with a large fine.
2. I wanted to live off campus but a Reslife employee urged me to sign up for a room on campus "just in case". I ended up cancelling my room and was charged a $500 cancellation fee which i was never warned about
3. I had 50 bucks remaining on my Rcard after this semester, went into get breakfast during maymester and they cancelled my remaining money and told me to buy a maymester mealplan if I wanted to eat.
4. The frequent $50 parking tickets i get for parking my car in sutton while running in for 5 fucking minutes

#4423 Incoming Freshmen TIP: Your roommate can be your best friend, or the complete opposite. By complete opposite, I mean a fucking psychopath of sorts. Regardless of which one they are, and regardless if it pisses them off or not, go do things with other people WITHOUT THEM (sometimes). You will meet more people, and probably enjoy your time more. If you are having a hard time meeting people like you (introvert), try hanging out in the lobby of your building: doing homework, watching TV/Movie, playing video games. Chances are, somebody will want to join.
I did not do any of these things, and I didn't meet anybody like me. Too late now. Make a solid group of friends freshmen year, it is a lot harder afterwards. Welcome to Rollins, FRESHMEN. - A GDI
