I was biking down Saratoga, and that sweet smell of pot and brisk spring air hung over the whole street. It was the time of day when the light looks sad. All the streetlights blink on. When I got to the corner there was a man singing. His voice shook a little. It sounded like a hymn. And then he stopped when i got close. Pretending like he hadn't been singing. Shuffling with grocery bags in each hand. We didn't make eye contact. He started up again after I passed by.
looking up at the night sky and knowing the light of the stars I see is only just reaching me after millions, sometimes billions, of years of travel still makes me giddy inside. makes me feel so small, and I like that. But hell, the stars, the moon! that giddiness! It just makes me want to run around!
Was about to go to bed when my girlfriend texted me
