#1267 No one tells you that college is basically class and homework all the time. Sure, it's "academically rigorous," but you really have no idea what that means until you spend 9 hours on a Saturday doing homework.
On a second note, the people here can be dicks. But what college doesn't have its fair share of assholes?
Nevertheless, these have been some of the best times of my life, and I haven't even graduated yet. I look forward to learning and growing with all you wonderful people.
#1266 My greatest flaws are pride and curiosity.
#1265 As a recent grad who moved to a completely new city a few months ago, the number of people with whom I converse on a regular (almost daily to weekly) basis has dropped alarmingly. I am trying not to get depressed, and am doing quite a bit of reaching out, but it is sad to see I have fewer friends than I thought. I miss Mac.
#1264 A lot of people tell me I'm an open book. A few of them say it's naive; fewer say it's brave. I don't consider myself either.
#1263 How come no one at Mac is outraged by Rolling Stone publishing a story of a false rape accusation? False accusations ruin lives. This piece of crap magazine profited off of the Boston marathon bomber and no this #burnitdown
#1262 'Hence' is the most overused word of non-native English speakers here.
#1261 Different weapon. Same story.
