#2287 Being an introvert in college is hard. I really want to connect with and meet new people, and so many of the students here at Mac seem really awesome, but most of the time I go to a party or any social event I get socially anxious and can't bring myself to talk to people. Does anyone have any sort of recommendations? I really enjoy talking to people and making friends, but being an introvert can make it difficult to do so because I am horrible at initiating social interactions, even though I know I will benefit from such social interactions. It's not that I'm unfriendly or bad at holding a conversation, I'm just shy and unable to bring myself to taking the first steps towards meeting new people, and that can be really limiting for me in the social environment here at Mac.

#2284 Nothing has made me so apathetic to politics as the atmosphere here at Mac. I'm in agreement with a lot of people, but there comes a point where I really just can't and don't care to talk about it anymore. I know everything is horrible. I want to support change. But is there any happiness in living your entire life to look at all the shit that goes on in the world? I would rather watch the sunset, play guitar, kiss my boyfriend.
