the lipsync is not rigged -- you are also judged on creativity. as great as the execution was, in addition to the performance, that song/dance has been done to death since the music video was released and people have performed (and got 1st) with this song in the past. just be happy they placed and move on. it's all about the fun timez anyways.
I have a tendency towards alcoholism, already had a period of 6 months where I wasn't sober longer than two days at a time, and I feel pretty down if my friday and saturday nights don't involve alcohol.
